Our dream day!
We got married at Tenuta San Masseo in June 2024 and stayed at the venue for 3 nights with our family, hosting two events as part of our wedding celebrations.
The venue is absolutely beautiful - the pictures don’t do it justice!
We had guests travelling from the UK and Australia and everyone expressed how much they enjoyed their free time exploring Assisi - perfect for a destination wedding.
On the day, everything went to plan and we had the most wonderful time. Luliia was great at ensuring the day went smoothly and it was everything we wished for.
I did a lot of the pre planning and briefing Luliia in what we wanted for the day. Depending on where you are from and what your expectations are, you may find the planning process feels quite laid back - just ensure you are clear in communication and trust the process!
Planning was not the easiest given we were in a different time zones and at times I was concerned at times that what we were requesting wouldn’t come together on the day, but it did!
We were able to choose our own suppliers / order items to the venue, as well as take Luliia’s recommendations. This was helpful because it meant that we were not restricted and Luliia was very accommodating in what we asked for.
During the planning process, we had to change catering company due to some dispute between the venue and original company - but we are so glad we made the change! Luliia recommended Locanda del Cardinale who were fantastic.
Our florist was also recommended by Luliia - La Primula - they delivered exactly what we wanted!
Most beautiful place in Umbria
We had such an amazing time getting married at tenuta San Masseo. All our guests loves it. Iuliia and the team are beyond helpful and truly have the best suppliers. Everyone is super professional. The venue is stunning, the skyline of Assisi is just amazing. The villa is done to an extremely high standard. We couldn’t fault anything.
The ceremony was done in the beautiful garden and the cube is the most gorgeous place at nighttime. Everyone loved the food too!
Big thank you again to Iuliia and her team. We will always come back to Assisi!
Dream wedding
I would highly recommend San Messeo for an unforgettable destination wedding. From our first enquiry, Iuliia was responsive, professional and extremely helpful and when we made our first visit to the venue, we fell in love with. We felt at ease during the whole planning process, and Iuliia helped us find the perfect suppliers for our needs. During the welcome event and the wedding day, we did not have to worry about anything. It truly exceed all of our expectations, and we are so happy we chose have our wedding at this beautiful place.
Incredible wedding experience
My husband and I had the most incredible wedding experience at Tenuta San Masseo in August 2023. The venue is an absolute dream, surpassing all expectations. Pictures truly didn't capture its beauty. We spent 5 unforgettable nights at the villa, enjoying a delightful welcome dinner, a breathtaking wedding, and a fantastic pool party with our friends and family. The food was a culinary masterpiece, undoubtedly the best we had in Italy. The staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating. I can't thank our brilliant wedding planner, Iuliia, enough for her meticulous attention to detail, making the entire journey effortless and enjoyable. Tenuta San Masseo gave us memories that will last a lifetime - a perfect choice for anyone seeking an enchanting wedding venue.

Tenuta San Masseo is such a beautiful & unique venue, us & the guests loved it so much! Iuliia and her team are brilliant and we thank them very much for their input on our wedding day. She coordinated the wedding and connected us to the best suppliers in the region. Our wedding day turned out amazing and we cannot thank them less.
Best day of our lives
Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives which was all down to Iuliia at Tenuta. The venue was absolutely beautiful and Iuliia genuinely couldn’t do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend Tenuta for its beauty yet relaxed atmosphere, it’s truly unique especially with the view of Assisi from the gardens

I can not recommend Tenuta San Masseo enough as a wedding venue! Not only is the location absolutely breathtaking, the personalised service delivered by Iuliia to ensure our day was everything we wanted it to be was outstanding. Nothing we asked was too much for her and she ensured that us and our family/friends were well looked after throughout our stay. Although we are an English family, I never felt like there was a language barrier and communication was fantastic. Best wedding venue we could ever dream of
Coming from London it was difficult to know which wedding venue to choose but Iuliia made everything easy for us! The venue is beautiful and the hosts super professional, they made our wedding the most memorable day of our lives! They helped us in every step and were very accommodating with every request. When the weather was not on our side they gave us different chooses to accommodate that too! The best wedding venue we could ever dream of! Thank you so much! We couldn’t have been happier ❤️
Just Perfect
This was simply an amazing experience and nothing was too much trouble. Contact between us was seamless and everything was just as we had imagined for our big day. Luliia was the perfect planner and literally organised everything from food to celebrant and thought of everything too!
The location is amazing. The villa simply beautiful and all of the staff were super friendly. This is a family run business which made it special and intimate. We couldn’t have been happier. I just want to do it all again!
